Jean-Michel Basquiat: The Iconic Works

I waited a long time to get this, but it was worth the wait. Of course any reproductions of his work pale in comparison. You showcased his work as well as the space. There is something about the cast shadows of the works that doesn't quite feel real. Not sure if that is editing. And I wish more of his work filled the pages instead of showing them set back in their frames.

We went to this show at the Brandt. It was amazing. So many paintings in one place.

This book is fantastic! The exhibit itself was over 4 years ago. And I checked in with the Brant a number of times regarding its release. And finally, here it is. It was well worth tne wait!
